    Description

    Here's a rare 5 1/4"small size early 1830s era pontiled 3 mold blown liquor decanter.....  The flint glass decanter has rounded ribs, panels and rings around it.....hand blown in 3 part mold.....rough pontil scar on sunken star bottom....crude thin wide flared collar.....only 5 1/4"tall (6 1/8"with stopper).....ground inside neck....solid glass stopper has spiral design and may not be the original, but looks great.  Decanter is in sparkling mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A nice clean bottle with no haze. The stopper is also perfect with no chips or damage. Decanter has a crude natural lean slightly to one side from when it was made....guaranteed authentic 1830s or 1840s original.....hard to find this cute small size!....
