    Description

    Here's an early ground pontil ribbed panel small 10 ounce size decanter from the 1850 era with ground glass stopper.....hand blown in mold....ground/polished pontil bottom....wide flared ring collar.....16 sided with ribs....3 applied rings around neck....only 5 1/2"tall (6 3/4"with hollow blown stopper)....clear....Excellent shiny mint condition with no chips or damage. The stopper has a small chip on the ground base. This bottle holds 10 ounces and was probably a small size whiskey decanter, but could have been a cologne or toilet water bottle ....
