Description

This is a great quilt top, Grams never got around to putting a back on it, it was used as a summer time cover! For the squares She used old flour sacks and shirts from the kids like the cowboy and lamb squares (photo 4& 5) old shirts from the older guys are seen in the different stripe patterns and a couple of old aprons were used for the purple flower squares in between the blocks. Its trimmed in an old flour sack in rose design. But... she used a very pretty purple sheer blouse for some of the blocks within blocks (photos 9 & 10) and they all came loose when washed, Ive also shown some restitched places and how the back is stitched, you can see the old machine stitching. Its in repairable condition or will make an adorable cutter for crafts.
