9458  Here are 40 beautiful antique 1850-70's Cross quilt blocks made using many madder prints, woven thread dyed checks, mauvy brown florals, printed stripes. They are 6 3/4 inches square. They were rescued from a quilt top whose sashing had fallen apart. The blocks are in very good/excellent antique condition. Some have edge damage, small holes (the light fabric with gray/brown bubbles has some tiny holes). Some of the fabrics are fragile but most are strong. These would be good for study, or making a piece that wouldn't see hard use.
