Description

This is an antique hand blown glass bottle, known as a "Schnapshund" (Germany) or "Gin Pig" (England). It is app. 8 3/4 inches long and 4 1/2 inches tall.
This one is most likely German from the late 1800s. Hard to find - were made to be discarded after use. Has rough pontil in center of chest. NOTE: please see our other listings for another one of these bottles from the same estate.
AS FOUND condition - 3 inch internal fissure/crack on chest; 1 front foot has a 1/2 inch chip; some surface scratches; typical bubbles/flaws in glass; some staining to inside bottom; see all 12 pics
Items can be picked up in person at our office.
