antique, very cool,

Pure Rye Whiskey jug or flask
. This jug was produced for the retailer,
G.Reismeyer of St. Louis, Missouri
and made by
Knowles, Taylor & Knowles of
Liverpool, OHIO
(see Manufacturers mark underneath the jug, as shown in pic 6)
Transfer advertised in an attractive blue color
!   The jug stands about 7 1/2" tall (for size comparison alongside a
regular can of Coke
, see last pic... pic 11.)
The jug has a small dent/depression in the side wall, but, which occurred "in-manufacture". This jug dates to the late 19th century, although examples of this antique jug were manufactured into the early 1900's.
