for auction a nice find, and true
survivor
. Its is a
medium
colored amber glass "barrel shape"
DISPLAY BOTTLE. It reads: OLD KENTUCKY / 1849 / RESERVE / BOURBON / S.PERKINS & CO
.
Just above the main embossed it is also embossed "
DISTILLED IN KENTUCKY
". As you can see there are two different
numbers
of ribs starting at angled neck downward. There is 1 set of 5 ribs at top and at base, and 3 ribs above main embossing and just below it.
This bottle stands 19" inches tall.
It is
slightly
bulbous so at widest point the bottle is just about 8". I not entirely sure but dating this bottle last quarter 19th
Century
based on the look of the glass and its overall
appurtenance
. The bottle has no stain cracks or chips to note. A great looking barrel "whiskey" piece. Has the look of a
barrel
Bitters also very
