    Description

Price for quilting is .0125 cents per inch.   minimum except Crib quilts are including batting.
You won't find another price for quilting buried in the fine print.  I don't charge for thread, bobbins, table time or trimming. I have hundreds of designs to choose from.  .00 deposit will be deducted at time of final payment.  Final payment will be invoiced when I finish working on the quilt or you can do your own measurements and include a personal check (no cashiers checks) in your package.  You can message me if you want to confirm the amount.
Final Pricing is based on quilt top length x width x .0125 ( example is 80" x 80" = 6400" x .0125 = ) plus return shipping less deposit.    Return shipping is usually between - depending on location.
You can go to my Facebook page Southern Whimsy Quilting where you can see a full list of designs and quilts that I have worked on as well as reviews. The attached photos are a small sample.  If you don't use Facebook, I'll find another source for you to view.
Longarm Quilting Service, I've been a quilter for many years and I've done 600+ quilts on the longarm and the number is growing every day.   I know how hard you worked to make your quilt top. Each one has a part of your heart stitched in it and you want it to be returned with a beautiful finish as soon as possible. (I have a smoke free studio.)
In order for me do the very best work for you, please do the following:
The backing and batting must be a minimum of 4 inches larger on each side (total of 8") than the quilt top.
To save you money on shipping I have several types of white 80/20 cotton/poly batting available at up to 92” and for over 92”.  There is no charge for batting for crib quilts less than 45"x45".
Your quilt top and backing should be squared, pressed and stray threads clipped.  Most longarm quilters will not press your top.  I will press your quilt form the top right before it goes on the machine to give it the very best look. The seams should be pressed before you mail it though.  If I see flaws I'll let you know or repair it if it's minor.
To get the very best finish, piece your borders based on the center measurements of the quilt vertically and horizontally.
If you are piecing a backing, please try to put the seam on the horizontal and make sure it is square.  Please cut all sides of the backing straight.
If you are doing back to back pieced quilts I will do my best but it is difficult to line them up perfectly, especially if the quilts tops are not pieced squarely/flat.  It always better to have wide borders on both sides in case they are not pieced squarely or in case of stretching.  There is a 20% upcharge for back to back quilts.
If you are sending a sheet for backing, cut off or undo the hems first unless your sheet is at least 8" larger than the quilt top. .
Include any special notes and your contact information (especially email) in the package with the quilt top so that I can contact you about design and thread color.  If I don't have your contact information it will delay getting the quilt completed.
Mail your top, backing and batting to :Lori Prouty4129 NW 84th LaneBell, FL  32619    Message me if you have any other questions.
