    Description

    For sale is a vintage RUMMY ROYAL Family Game, by Whitman Publishing, from 1965.   It is marked #4804:2.00.   It was found in the game cabinet of my late parents, but it appears that is have never been played.   The deck of cards is still sealed in a plastic covering.   It has always been stored in a dry, smoke-free home.
    The box is still in good shape.   I doubt that there ever was an original plastic covering on the box, since the price tag is stuck on the box itself.  I double-checked, and there are 100 chips, 25 white, 50 red, and 25 blue.   There is no plastic covering over the chips, but I'm not sure there ever was.
    The game sheet is like new, except that when I opened it to photograph, I noticed that the middle "Pot" square was slightly discolored, perhaps from laying against the inside cover of the box (see photo).   Hardly noticeable.
    The box may have tiny marks on it from storage.   After all, it has most likely been moved around in the game cabinet for over 55 years!!
