I use this inletting cutting tool every day in the Fly shop to cut all my cork grip so I only have to purchase cork grips with no inlett
Just install the 8mm reamer in the chuck on a lath or fixed electric drill and ream the center hole in the cork grip up to the end of the flutes on the reamer. Install the counterbore cutting tool in the chuck on a lath or fixed electric drill. Insert the center pin pilot guide with 1/8" protruding in the cork grip. Push the cork grip onto the counterbore cutting tool slowly lining up the hole on the pilot guide with the center point on the cutting tool
