  • Condition: When acquired, the box was broken into and a piece of wood was missing.You can see the difference in color on the front of the box. Lock was straightened and works fine. a piece of wood was installed but, just sitting in place. It can be removed or glued in. Their was some tape on the box because lock didn't work. You can see some residue on the top. A couple of nails are missing from when it was broken into. If shipping is required I will be rinsing the bottles because I can't ship alcohol.

    Description

    Very Rare!  Antique Traveling Salesman Liquor Decanter Cabinet With Gilt Bottles And Glasses 1820's
    Has fitted interior consisting of original stenciled gilt glasses and bottles with stoppers.
    Iron carrying side handles and original locking mechanism with key.
    Early 19th century.
    Made in the USA.
    Some bottles have dates on them.
    Some bottles also have liquor still in them!
    The Metheglin is a honey and water mixture.
    Metheglin came from the word medicine because herbs were sometimes put in and herbs are good for you.
    Because there is still liquor in the bottles, they will be rinsed out if you require shipping! I will not empty the bottles until purchased, in case you want to pick it up with what's left in the bottles.
    Please don't think of drinking any of this!!
