    Description

    Bamboo Rod Tip Blanks
Two vintage and matching bamboo rod building tip blanks.    About 40" long.      Diameter 2" in from butt end is about .185"- .195", and diameter 2" in from tip end is about  .080" -  .085".
Blanks came from a estate sale in Colorado of the long closed tackle and rod building shop that bought out the bamboo rod stock of Wright & McGill and Phillipson, when these Denver based companys ceased production of bamboo rods.    Thus, these blanks are 1960's Denver, either Wright & McGill or Phillipson.
All in excellent condition.   Very well made; straight and solid.    No splits, cracks, dings or obvious glue lines.    Beautiful carmel color.
