Vintage Daisy 1960’s Cast Nickel Plated Repeater Cap Gun Revolver Toy Pistol Nichols.
Nice piece great looking inside and out.
This version stamped made in the USA
Fires, but trigger sticks back and does not snap back into place, must cock hammer and then push trigger forward. Spring off?
Door covering caps falls open, I do not know why.

I am not in anyway a cap gun expert. But I know a good piece when I see one, and this one’s nice. Not 100% functional. .

This is a vintage toy cap gun with a Nickel finish that I found at a Louisville, KY area estate sale. It is a 1KILGORE RANGER CAST IRON 1940 SILVER FINISH CAP GUN WITH RED GRIPS Needs Adjusted VINTAGE B- (see pictures). It is in good used condition, (somewhat unclean INSIDE. The outer finish looks nice ( see pictures). One of The Bright Red has ZERO cracks in it. There is no physical damage that I can see (see pictures). The trigger mechanism does not work as intended and when it does , not smoothly. It does not cock, but I do not think this model was supposed to. not 100%sure what the action is,
The finish is consistent and there appears to be a bit of surface oxidation which should rub out.
There is evidence of some rust in corners (See the photos).
I have not in any way tried to clean this up. This is how I found it.
I have other guns which are ALMOST pristine. They are already listed eventually. They a bit even nicer than this one.
Should make A real nice display piece when fully restored..
