With so many rod finish options available, we always wanted to go back to the basic of the rod finish -
provide secure bonding among wrap, guide and blank, and also flexible, durable enough to sustain repeated bending for the whole lifespan of the rod
. Our Non-Cracking Formula rod finish was specifically developed for that purpose. We, as a wrapping thread, blank and finished rod producer ourselves, find this formula the most reliable and sustainable finish option available for rod building.
- Pot life : 30 mins
- Dryer time : 8 hrs
- Curing time : 24 hrs at 86 degree F (8 hrs for surface setting and 48 hrs recommended for complete dry before use)

Best penetration down to the blank and forms strongest bond with the wrap, blank and guide foot but keeps most flexible setting for rod bending
(You can test this just by trying to tear off hardened finish from mixing cup or aluminium foil and see which one sticks and bonds better on it upon bending over time)
